Pure Bubbles Soapery Propolis Sleeping Cream, Acai Berry and Moroccan Clay face mask Review

Pure Bubbles Soapery is a brand I have been following for a long time and finally bought three products from them few months back. Pure bubbles soapery is based in Rajasthan and when I contacted their Insta page, I was asked to connect via Whatsapp and was sent the product catalog there.

I was attracted to the brand because of the few interesting ingredients in the range, which I am familiar with in Korean skincare products, but not used extensively in Indian skin care.

All the products I bought, came in glass tubs and the labels mantions the major ingredients and usage method. Read more about Pure Bubbles Soapery products below.

Propolis Sleeping Cream

Honey and beeswax are ingredients that we are quite familiar with in skincare products. Propolis on the other hand is not. Propolis is a resin like substance made by the bees to seal their hives. It is basically like a glue that coats the hives of the bees. It is thought to have nourishing, healing and soothing properties.

Propolis Cream

Ingredients:

Distilled Water, Moringa oil, Propolis extract, Kokum butter, Sea buckthorn oil, Pumpkin seed oil,Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Hydrogenated Olive Oil , Phenoxyethanol, Triethylene Glycol, Olive Leaf Extract, Lavender Essential Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate

My take on the product:

This moisturizer is quite thick and has a yellow tinge. The consistency is perfect for a sleeping cream, but if you have normal skin you can even use it as a day cream. Eventhough thick, it doesn’t leave your skin oily as long as you don’t live in humid climate.

The lavender fragrance is quite soothing and apt for a sleeping cream. I carried some of this in a lip balm tin during my Europe trip and it came in handy during extremely low temperatures.

Incase you are using this Propolis cream in humid climate, make sure you use a face mist or apply this to damp face.

Priced at 950 Rs for 50g, this is one of the expensive moisturizers in my stash and I find it to be a great nourishing moisturizer. But if you are looking for anti ageing and visible improvement in skin, one might have to consistently use it for many more months.

Acai Berry Power Packed Face Mask

Acai berry extract and powder are the star ingredients of the product, and acai berry is rich in anti oxidants, vitamins and fatty acids.

Acai Berry Face mask

Another product from the brand that claims anti ageing benefits, this face mask has a smooth,Β  creamy and spongy texture. It is easily spreadable and doesn’t dry out like most clay based masks.

Interestingly after 20 minutes, clay globules are left on face with an oily film. It emulsifies with water and can be washed off.

Ingredients:

Distilled water, Aloe Juice, Acai berry extract, Glycerin, Kaolin Clay, Cetearyl olivate (and) Sorbitan Olivate, Cannabis Sativa seed oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Vitellaria Paradoxa, Propenediol, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol Triethylene glycol, Acai Berry powder, Xanthum Gum, sodium hyaluronate, Lactic Acid, Beeswax, Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Aurantifolia

Acai Berry Face Mask

My take on the product:

I am not a fan of the texture of this product and to be frank I didn’t notice any difference in my skin, after using this. The mask cleanses the skin deeply. The ingredients are quite great and I feel this will nourish the skin well, even though there are no visible effects.

Moroccan clay massage face pack

This is a brick coloured, thick mask with a bit strong but earthy fragrance. It is a scrubby mask with fine walnut granules. Unlike the usual walnut based scrubs, the particles are gentle and hence not abrasive on skin.

Moroccan Clay Face Mask

Ingredients:

Distilled water, Argan oil, rosehip seed oil, Shea butter, Cetearyl Olivate & sorbitan olivate, ethyhexyl olivate, Glycerin, Moroccan Red clay, Apricot scrub granules, Hyaluronic acid, Phenoxyethanol,Triethylene Glycol, Olive leaf extract, Glycolic

My take on the product:

Moroccan Clay Mask

It doesn’t dry out or stretch the skin. Skin feels deeply cleansed after wash. I really enjoyed using this one. You can make out a difference in skin, owing to the exfoliation and being a massage mask, this has ample creaminess to massage it well on the skin.

Unfortunately I could use this just twice. It grew mold easily and I had to discard it. Even though I don’t keep these product in the bathroom or anywhere moist, or even use moist fingers to take the product, I wonder why it grew mold so fast. Anyway I couldn’t use it for long to give more feedback.

Overall, Pure Bubbles Soapery is a promising brand and I would definitely try products with actives from their range.

Right now they re running a Republic Day offer in the website. Do check it out.
